Hot Tub Time Machine

After a night of heavy drinking in a ski resorts hot tub, four friends, including Adam- John Cussack find that when they wake up the next morning, they are back in the year 1986!

Each of the friends is able to go and change things in his past to make his future better! We are taken on four separate yet intertwined journeys that turn out quite differently from the way they did before!

It is an amusing movie, that is quite funny but it isn't anything I would get for the DVD collection! Sadly it seems like John Cussack is grasping at straws with his movie selections! Maybe see this one when it comes out on video.

Can't say we loved it all that much and therefore we give this flick a rating of 2 out of 5!

I Now Pronounce You Black and White

'I now pronounce you black and white' is the first South African comedy of it's kind. It tackles inter racial relationships in a hysterical and refreshing way.

When Simon Dawson and his girlfriend JackieMsolisi decide to get married their parents are far from happy about it and try everything they can to stop the wedding. The couple are faced with many silly and outrageous situations and have their love tested!

Starring, Tyrel Meyer and Astara Mwakalumba this is a film all South African's can truly be proud of! This hilarious South African comedy takes centre stage this Friday, so be sure to book your tickets now.

When in Rome

If romantic comedies are your thing then 'When in Rome' is absolutely the movie for you!

Beth the main character in this flick has not had the best track record when it comes to love and relationships but all that is about to change as she inadvertently catches the attention of some possible love interests while on a trip to Rome.

This movie is full of adventure, it's hilariously funny and best of all has a perfectly happy ending! Furthermore it has a fairy tale vibe going on and has some very romantic twists and turns!

Definitely a first date movie or something to catch on a Saturday afternoon. It is light hearted and leaves one feeling fresh and optimistic!

Iron Man 2

This is an absolute must see!

If you love action, thrills and a more or less predictable ending then Iron Man 2 will not disappoint you!

In this sequel the identity of Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr is revealed! He is a hero to millions of people around the world and the senate wants to know the secret behind the incredible technology he has produced.

Through a series of twist, close calls and unforeseeable dangers, Tony Stars (Iron Man) is in the end still the hero everyone believes him to be.

This star packed cast including Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson give a sterling performance that will leave you clinging to your seat!

Clash of the Titans

Sam Worthington plays the part of Perseus, born a Greek god but raised as a man. He has suffered at the hands of the cruel god Hades and is now determined to save Princess Andromeda (Alexa Davalos) who is being imprisoned.

Perseus is taken on a journey that not only tests his ability as a god but also his self belief and determination. He is pushed to the edge and forced to ask the question, how much more can I take.

Perseus must embrace his power as a 'god amoung men' and fight on to save king Zeus (Liam Neeson) from being over thrown.

This movie is a harrowing modern day story about fighting for what is right and never giving up even when the odds are set against you.

We loved this movie and give it a rating of 3 out of 5.

Date night

The perfect comedy about a couple that is trying to put the spark back into their marriage. Through the simple error of mistaken identities, the couple Phil and Claire (Tina Fey and Steve Carrell) are set on a path of hysterical events where they literally must fight for their lives!

If you know either of these actors you will know how very funny they are individually and can now be sure that together they are outrageously amusing. It defiantly not an Oscar winner but Oscar season is over, so who cares!

Great for a first date or to see with a bunch of friends, this film is a laugh a minute and suitable for everyone!

The Bounty Hunter

The Bounty Hunter is a hilarious comedy starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerhard Butler. The movie tells the story of a divorced couple who at first are on opposite sides but then end up working together.

At first Milo (Gerhard Butler) has the unpleasant task of arresting his estranged ex-wife Nicole, (Aniston) but in the end they are forced to work together and fight for their lives as someone has decided to kill them!

This fun filled adventure will have you laughing non-stop with awkward moments and uncomfortable situations! It’s just too good.

See this one if you are looking for something light-hearted and fun!
